The first trailer for Netflix’s Harry and Meghan docu-series has finally dropped after the cop opens up about the ‘very real’ threats the family faced before leaving the UK

Since 2020, when Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, left their royal duties, there have been a number of reports and rumors about what really happened behind the scenes to lead them to such drastic action. After moving to the United States, The duo has partnered with Netflix for a number of projects, including a documentary series about their lives that will detail many of the events that led up to them leaving royal life behind. In early October we heard reports that the docuseries might be delayed “indefinitely”, but the issue seems to have been resolved as we now have our first look at the show, as soon as new reports surfaced about the “very real” threats. which they were encountering at Harry’s former home.

What do we see in Harry and Meghan’s trailer?

The clip, which you can watch above, opens with several shots of her at the happy times, with several already featured shots of them lovingly looking at each other, along with what appear to be selfies of Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry. A voiceover, likely from one of the registrars, asks, “Why did you want to do this documentary?” And the photos finally show more dangerous times. With both Harry and Meghan shown shortly after, he talks about doing what he needs to do to protect his family, and remembering how it made sense for them to simply do it.
