The Pokemon Journeys journey is now in the middle of the final episodes of its run, and the synopsis for the next episode of the series is to prepare Ash Ketchum for an emotional reunion before he embarks on the next big leg of his journey. The 25th anniversary animated series is presented in a much different way than all the other series to date. Starting with both Ash and new protagonist Goh deciding on their big goals for the season, the anime has already seen both of them achieve their big dreams. Now it comes to seeing what could be next for the anime’s future.
But while Ash’s future in the Pokemon anime is almost certain no matter what kind of future region he travels to next, Goh’s future is less clear. This is the point in the series at which Ash’s companions usually decide to either continue their travels with him or set out on adventures of their own. Looking at the synopsis about the two heroes getting back together in the next episode, Goh has some ideas about where he might go next.
Episode 135 of Pokemon Journeys Titled “Pokemon! Nice to meet you!” And the episode synopsis (ex Spotted by @AnipokeFandom on Twitter), “Ash and Goh reunite at Cerise’s lab after completing their respective challenges. They decide to go camping with Chloe. Surrounded by nature, filled with Pokemon as far as the eye can see, the three reminisce about their childhood memories with Pokemon but… there is something Goh can’t tell Ash… .”

It looks like Goh will make an important decision after successfully reuniting with Mew in the Project Mew campaign in the latest episode of the anime. Ash is now a world champion, and Goh has a clear list of his dreams for the future, so it’s a matter of whether they’ll still be together in the next installment of the anime as he takes on the Paldea region from the Pokemon games Scarlet and Violet that were just released this fall.
