Charlize Theron has revealed that she binge-watched the entire MCU before joining Doctor Strange 2

This year, Charlize Theron finally joined the superhero scene, starting with appearing as Clea in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Theron made a splash in the movie’s post-credits scene, which seemed to indicate an ongoing storyline between her and Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch). While we don’t currently know when Theron will reprise her next role, it appears that the actress has taken a very detailed approach to joining the franchise. In a recent interview with Hollywood ReporterIn fact, Theron revealed that she actually sat down and watched all of the previous MCU films, which gave her a huge appreciation for her role.

The simple answer to that is that it’s all I’ve said about it old guardTheron explained. If I could find the announcer, I wouldn’t be so arrogant, like, “Oh, does that make me any less powerful as an actor?” I was ignorant, I didn’t know those [Marvel] The movies are good enough that even a family member I consider, like my adoptive family, made me watch them. They are crazy Marvel fans, and I always made fun of them. Like, “Oh my God, you guys are so geeky.” Then one spring break, we rented a house and our kids were at camp and they were like, “You gotta sit and watch fuckin’.” So, we saw all the movies, and I said, “Oh my God, they’re so good.” Kids have ridden it too, and it was a fun ride. And there are legends about it that have been contemplated for decades with Clea, and that challenged me. Like, how do you reinvent that? So, I’m excited, but I honestly don’t know what it’s going to be like.”

Will there be a file Doctor Strange 3?

While Cumberbatch hasn’t been confirmed to reprise his role as Doctor Strange in a future MCU project, there’s definitely still plenty of canon left to be explored on screen. The biggest of these might be the introduction of Clea, who literally cut through the multiverse to get Strange’s attention in search of a mission.

That’s when the bill is due. As Wong says, “You used the Darkhold to possess your own corpse.” “Sure, there has to be some fallout,” screenwriter Michael Waldron said EXCLUSIVELY Character book earlier this year. “It was somewhat of a throwback [director Sam Raimi’s] Old evil dead, and the end grumbles, or it’s like, “Oh my God, things went wrong in the end.” So yeah. We’ll see what all this means for Stephen.”

Waldron noted that “the multiverse shoved a mirror in front of his face, and made him do some self-reflection, which I think he refused to do at all.” Even when he got into this beginning [car] incident [in Doctor Strange]Instead of really thinking about who he was, he instead went and became the most powerful mage alive. This is the guy who doesn’t want to go to therapy. I think now, there’s been some forced self-reflection over the course of this adventure, and I think he’s perhaps more capable than ever before as part of a team.”

Directed by Sam Raimi, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness Stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / The Scarlet Witch, Benedict Wong as Wizard Supreme Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, Xochitel Gomez as America Chavez, and Charlize Theron as Clea.
