With the mainline franchise expected to end with a two-film finale, there has been a question about other films or spinoffs that could pop up – including a female-fronted spinoff that has been in the works for several years. In a recent interview with Hollywood ReporterTheron addressed the possibility of this spin-off, praising franchise star and producer Vin Diesel for endorsing it even in the beginning.
