competition part of the soundSeason twenty-two in the books, w Blake SheltonAnd the Camila CabelloAnd the Gwen Stefani: famous American singerAnd the John legend They did everything they could for their teams. While Stefani did not have an artist to compete with At the end of December 12th, I undoubtedly enjoyed the night, as all the remaining performers seemed to have left it all on stage. The two-hour performance finale featured the Top 5 finalists performing twice – covering a single beat and a thank you song, as All the sound trainers Offer some recent praise (without criticism) and well wishes to their singers.
So who will be crowned the winner of Season 22? We’ll have to tune in to the December 13 results episode to find out, but let’s take a look at what happened Monday night, and which singer deserves to win based on their final performance. (The artists are listed below in the order in which they appear in the episode.)
Bodie (Team Blake)
my body He was the frontrunner from the start. He’s been a four-header at the Blind Auditions, won the fight and knockout rounds, and voted America through in every live episodeYou will never have to do an instant save. The unique twists he puts on each song are only accentuated by how easy it turns out, and it’s been said more than once by his coaches that they don’t understand how he’s not a superstar already. Finally, he took on “Late Night Talking” by Harry Styles and then showed his soulful side with “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake. Take a look at his inspiring final performance:
Everyone absolutely shook to the core after such a powerful performance @bodielovesyou @brandonlake pic.twitter.com/hVw6EstNxPDecember 13, 2022
Crowd chants of “Bodhi! Bodhi!” are becoming popular, and for good reason. John Legend said the word “strength” comes to mind when thinking of the artist, and his coach Blake Shelton said delivering “Gratitude” was one of the most moving performances he had seen in a long time.
Morgan Miles (Team Camila)
It takes a special kind of guts to jump and twirl in heels on stage while singing on live TV. Morgan Miles She does her best for her final pick of “Total Eclipse of the Heart”, nearly falling during her first song but expertly saving herself and continuing without a hitch. She totally slayed her second single, “Girl Crush,” which led John Legend to say she’s the best country singer he’s seen since he started the sound. See what all the hype is about below:

Camila Cabello has never had a cold A lone contestant who coached her to the end In her freshman season, which like Boddy, he was a four seater and never faced elimination. Cabello even yelled at Gwen Stefani as she tried to make her own remarks. She said she wanted this win so bad for Morgan Miles, declaring: “You deserve to win the sound. ”
Brayden Lab (Team Blake)
Tim McGraw’s “Humble and Kind” was an apt song choice Bryden Lab In the end. Voters certainly had a sweet spot for 16-year-old singer Blake Shelton, who seems to embody the proud words of hit country. As he did most of the season, Lape went to country for his second performance as well, singing “Wild as Her,” and while I don’t think he’s quite as strong as the other competitors around him, he’s shown so much growth, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear his voice on country radio. Check out his latest competition piece the sound:

Brayden Lap — who has been converting to a single chair for the audition round — said he just wanted to have fun on the final night and enjoy the whole experience. John Legend said this is just the beginning of his career, praising him for his poise and grace. Blake Shelton said Lapp has been following his heart and has a lot ahead of him.
Omar Jose Cardona (Team Legend)
John Legend’s actor in the season 22 finale, Omar Jose CardonaHe certainly didn’t take his foot off the gas after lights out Semi-final performance of “My Heart Will Go On”. Over the course of the season, Cardona has dealt with Bon Jovi, Imagine Dragons, Journey, and more, displaying a truly unique style. On the final night of the competition, he just ups the ante, performing a choreography for a fun rendition of Michael Jackson’s “The Way You Make Me Feel” before a stop-motion rendition of Queen’s “Somebody to Love.” take a look:

John Legend echoed Gwen Stefani’s joke from last week about Jose Cardona’s lifetime lip-synching, because through all the dancing and then being lifted into the air by his backup dancers for his Queen performance, his voice never faltered, and he never seemed annoyed.
Bryce Leatherwood (Team Blake)
I don’t believe anyone the sound He was previously considered as hard as Count Bryce Leatherwood this season. This Blake Shelton cast member is so country that he made me use that word as a verb. This season he covered songs by Conway Twitty, George Strait, Travis Tritt and others, before finally facing off against Keith Whiteley with “Don’t Close Your Eyes” and another Tritt song, “TROUBLE”. Take a look at his final performance:

Gwen Stefani assured Bryce Leatherwood that even if he didn’t win the sound, he won a career. Blake Shelton congratulated him on his journey and on introducing country legends like Keith Whiteley to a whole new generation of fans.
Why Omar Jose Cardona should win
Omar can do it! Omar can do it! I will admit my money has been in Bodie for most of the season, but based on Omar Jose CardonaHis final shows – and his semi-final songs, too – the John Legend singer simply couldn’t have created bigger moments for himself. He danced, acted, and most importantly, he sang. He addressed his coach America, saying he didn’t know what else Cardona could do to prove he was the soundI agree.
Can Omar Jose Cardona do that for the legend team? Will Camila Cabello win in her first season as a manager? Or will Blake Shelton take his ninth victory with a finalist? We don’t have to wait long to find out, as a winner will be named on Tuesday, December 13th. the sound The Season 22 finale begins with a one-hour special at 8 PM ET on NBC, before a two-hour live results show at 9 PM ET.
