The studio has announced four series to symbol picture, with two already filmed, and the other two are waiting to see how the first does at the box office. The director shot both sequels back in time because of how they needed to shoot scenes for both. About a year ago, Cameron confirmed to Variety why he shoots movies this way.

“We mixed together schedules of 2 and 3, based on the types of scenes and environments,” Cameron revealed of the trade. I said, let’s just treat it like it’s a six-hour miniseries and we’re only going to Frankfurt once. We’re going to shoot all scenes 2 and 3 at the same time. That was more or less the idea. Actor availability was also an issue. Anything has to be done. done with a certain actor, we did all the scenes for 2 and 3 together – and a little bit of 4. Because again, I had to shoot the kids out. They’re allowed six years old in the middle of the story on page 25 of movie 4. So I needed all Something before then, and after that everything, we’ll do later.”

The sequel is confirmed to feature several returning stars including Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Stepehn Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, Matt Gerald, and Sigourney Weaver.
