The anime adaptation of Tatsuya Endo’s original manga series took the world by storm when it premiered its first half earlier this spring, and such has been the case for the second half of the first season which is now airing its episodes this fall. But as the year draws to a close, it’s time to say goodbye to one of the biggest anime projects of the year.

All this season so far Loid has been pushing forward in order to somehow get close to this elusive guy, and it looks like he’ll finally make his first goal contact in the big season finale. spy x familyThe final season is titled “First Contact,” and as the title teases, this will be the first time that Loid will come face to face with Donovan Desmond at Eden Academy. He’s been working this whole time to try to find a way for him or Anya to somehow make that connection, so fans will soon see the super spy’s next step when he makes the first phase of his plan a reality. With Season 1 drawing to a close, now is the perfect time to catch up.
