The Chainsaw Man anime is preparing for the big season finale, and the series creator has updated fans by showing love to Himeno in a new message! The anime has come to the end of its debut season, and the final arc of the series began with a dogfight that eliminated some of the biggest fan-favorite characters in the series. As it turns out, some of these characters were actually huge favorites of the series’ own creator as well since he couldn’t help but tease Himeno when addressing fans about the current state of the anime series.
during Chainsaw manDuring the theatrical presentation during Jump Festa 2023 last weekend, original series creator Tatsuki Fujimoto shared a special statement with fans about his reaction to the ongoing anime. While the creator didn’t know exactly where the anime would be headed when crafting the message, he couldn’t help but notice how Himeno affected the second half of the season and beyond after her death.
What does the chainsaw man’s creator think of Himeno?
“Thank you all for coming to Chainsaw man The stage,” Fujimoto’s message to fans during Jump Festa 2023 Began. I don’t know when you’re reading this, but I’m sure the anime is going well. In the second half of Chainsaw man anime, Himeno is the focus of the drama. Himeno is the kind of person who leaves little bits of her own stuff at Aki’s house. I think Himeno leaves something little by little in each of you, and it will remain after her death.”

Continuing further, Fujimoto noted that Himeno’s death affected not only the fans but himself as well, as he was surprised by when he revisited his own work, “I felt an unpleasant feeling of relief that Himeno had left something in me because, well, I don’t re-read.” My manga a lot, but was affected by the fact that I could receive something from myself on such occasions. I don’t know where the anime is right now, but I hope to continue to enjoy it with all of you in the future.”
