The Golden Guardian of Good might be on its way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After speculation that the Squadron Supreme might appear in Thunderbolts, the entire social media turned to the idea that the Sentry would serve as the movie’s greater evil instead. Now, a new rumor suggests that Robert Reynolds will be getting his own series on Disney+ next Lightning hits theatres.
This rumor comes from Twitter star @DanielRPK, who shared just that – a series featuring Sentry is in development at Marvel Studios. So far, nothing else is known about the rumored project.
Who is the guard?
Sentry – real name Robert Reynolds – is a relatively new addition to the Marvel pantheon. Thanks to some comic book magic, the heroes of the Marvel Universe simply forget about Sentry’s existence until his reappearance.
On a basic level, Sentry would probably be more comparable to Superman. Although not from an alien planet, they both display similar powers in that they are both invincible. When it comes to Sentry, he’s closely aligned with his archenemy The Void, a villain basically born from the worst parts of Sentry’s being.

while Lightning Star David Harbor doesn’t know the exact details of the Marvel movie, and Weird things The graduate told ComicBook.com earlier this month that he knows the overall story, revealing that the film’s closing moments should change the MCU forever.
“I didn’t read a script, but I was told the storyline and how the story goes,” said Harbor. “It’s so cool. It’s so unique. It also has all this great action and comedy in it, from what was described to me, and then there’s the bomb-dropping thing we add to the universe, which is going to be very exciting for the movie at the end of this very point that we’re done with.”
