Metacritic reveals the 10 worst games of 2022

Metacritic has revealed the top 10 worst games of 2022. The video game industry is an interesting thing when it comes to how many games have been released and how they are being released in the modern era. Although there are a lot of games released in any given year, there seem to be endless games nowadays. Anyone can publish a game on digital retailers like Steam, which makes it impossible to play everything. Not all of them will be great, though. In fact, statistically speaking, many of them would be very bad.

In 2022, we’ve had a lot of great games, big and small. God of War RagnarokAnd the Elden ringAnd the sefoAnd the stray, and several others have proven to be an absolute bang. But not every game was as good as that, there were some that shot really terribly. Some of these things have been fixed over time, but it didn’t stop them from being criticized upon release. Some of these didn’t get much better, smearing them forever.

Of course, it is worth noting that the games are very difficult. While it’s interesting to study games that haven’t hit their marks, it’s a miracle any game can turn out so well. the team behind God of War Ragnarok He was concerned with its quality just a few months before its release, which shows how quickly things can change and even very talented teams struggle. Some of these games even managed to get a little better after receiving some backlash and getting some extra time to work on the issues. Some games don’t have the luxury of doing this or don’t fully recover, but at least some games can make something better that receives criticism.
