Long Island actor George Santos claims he lied on his resume but is not a criminal

George Santos was just elected on Long Island and he’s come clean and made a few tweaks to spruce up his resume but he’s not a criminal.

Jorge Santos had no choice but to come clean

Once the fact came out that he had not graduated from college, nor had he worked directly with the financial companies he mentioned like Citigroup and Goldman Sachs, he had nothing to do but act cool during an interview with WABC Radio.

He said during the interview, “I am not a criminal. This [controversy] It will not prevent me from achieving good legislative success. I will be effective. I will be fine “.

But he said people know him and he has committed no crime, he is known for his hard work with people, and at the end of the day that’s what counts.

Jorge Santos admitted that he lied

“I didn’t graduate from any institution of higher education. I’m embarrassed and sorry that I embellished my resume,” he continued. “I admit it…we do stupid things in life.”

Furthermore, Jorge Santos regrets that he wrote incorrect information, however, he doesn’t think it’s a big deal.

There was a delusion that Santos was Jewish

“I never claimed to be Jewish,” Santos said. “I am Catholic. Because I learned that my maternal family had a Jewish background, I said I was Jewish.”
