She previously opened up about her favorite SNL moments of her own, and she’s also revealed a classic ’90s sketch that served as a go-to for the talent shows she did as a kid.

Cecily Strong was a huge presence at the SNL for 10 years, but her love for the long-running variety series started at a very young age. As revealed to THRwhich spoke to several cast members of the show’s 48th season Their favorite classic cartoon, Strong admitted that she knew she was a very young girl who wanted to be them SNL, so her absolute favorites are too many to keep in mind. However, she did share that she would be recreating the “Bill Swerski’s Superfans” sketch for the talent show, while also sharing her special love for the fan-favorite cast member. In her words:

I’m not sure if there was one sketch I saw that made me think, “Now I want to be on the show,” because I wanted to be on the show the moment I knew there was a show — which must be very young, because I know I was five or 6 when I was fooling the babysitter into thinking my parents totally let me stay up late Saturday nights to catch him. I’ve definitely recreated Bill Swirski’s Superfans sketches for the talent show. I probably imitated Mike Myers characters and drawings too often. I’m sure I’ve had a bad impression of every SNL character at some point in my life.
