In an interview with Australia Tonight TVPogosian revealed that he initially said no to the series – but reconsidered after reading the scripts and is glad he finally took the role.
Bogosian explained that when his agent asked him if he wanted to play Daniel, who was the interviewee on the series, he was very vocal in his refusal.
“I said, ‘I’m going to make it easy for you. It’s a hard pass,'” said Bogosian. “But he said, ‘Let’s talk tomorrow. I’m so glad we finally read the scripts, and then I finally realized that this isn’t a simple job. This is going to be someone who’s going to challenge you. Plus, I have to say, I’ve worked with people who are really good at what they do, but they’re kind of The bad guys, and I’ve worked with people who are easy to work with, but they don’t do a great job. This group of people who put on the show…they are the best at what they do. And they were great to work with Jacob (Anderson), Sam (Reed), and Mara ( Liber-Schlob), our set designer who created the entire look for the show, Rollin (Jones), Alan (Taylor) who supervised the director and the other directors — it was a pleasure. They made it easy.”
When can fans expect the second season of Interview with the vampire?
Even though it’s been a little over a month since the end of the first season of Interview with the vampire On AMC, fans of the series may be waiting a bit for the second season. O’Byrne has indicated that he does not expect the second season to arrive until late 2023 or even early 2024, and the series is expected to be filmed from April to August 2023 in Prague.
“I guess we’re not going to make that window,” O’Byrne said of the October release month for the first season, “This is an AMC call.
What can viewers expect from the second season of… Interview with the vampire?
“We’re going to Europe and the second part of the novel is Episode 1 of Season 2. So, we’ll go there and experience that. Then we’ll go to Paris. We’ll see what life is about, and we’ll have more time than the movie or even the book,” Jones previously said. “We’re continuing to make the interview a part of this and it’s just as important as the flashback, in that there are some very active things going on in Dubai. In season one, this idea of memory and what’s real and what’s not is a big player in season two. All Something is going about who I am? How did I get here? What am I going to become now? There are so many!”
The first season of Interview with the vampire Streaming now on AMC+. Season 2 does not have an expected release date yet. The third season has not yet been officially announced.
