Warner Bros. is preparing. to make some major changes to the DC Universe following the appointment of James Gunn and Peter Safran as co-CEOs of DC Studios. Gunn has revealed that he will be writing a new Superman movie that will not feature Henry Cavill as the Last Son of Krypton. The new Superman movie won’t be an origin story but will focus on the character when he first arrives in Metropolis and starts working for the Daily Planet. It was also revealed that the new studio will be working on a bunch of Elseworlds stories and fans have been coming up with some great ideas. An artist has created a new piece of fan art featuring the return of Nicolas Cage as the Superman Beyond version of the character.
Instagram artist handler @Clements.Ink created an adorable design of a National Treasure star named Superman Beyond. In fan art, Cage gets his Superman Beyond suit outfitted in a black-and-gray fashion. The actor has by no means been confirmed to appear as the Man of Steel, but the fan art sure is fun to look at. Gunn and Peter Safran started their jobs as co-CEOs of DC Studios in November and it’s safe to say DC’s future looks bright. When the duo was announced by the head of Warner Bros. New Discovery, they released a statement about their excitement for the job.

We are excited to revitalize the theatrical experience around the world as we tell some of the biggest, most beautiful, most amazing stories of all time.”
The latest DC Film released in theaters was the Dwayne Johnson helmed Dwayne Johnson Black Adam. Black Adam will star with Johnson and will also feature Aldis Hodge (UndergroundAnd the Invisible Man(as Hawkman, Noah Centineo)To all the boys I’ve ever lovedAnd the Charlie’s Angels) as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell (trinketsAnd the trance(Like a Hurricane, Sarah Shahi)L wordAnd the sex / life(as Adrianna Tomaz, Pierce Brosnan)golden eyeAnd the Mama Mia!) as a doctor of fate. Ole Latokvu, Marawan Kenzari, Mohamed Aamer, James Kosati Muir and Buddy Saponjoy have also been selected.
