Since that time, both Netflix and Ubisoft have been pretty quiet about the show’s status outside of periodic confirmations that the series is still in the works. “I think it was a move of the executives from L.A. to London, and that allowed the London group who, unfortunately, had to inherit my vision of what it was rather than develop their own. So I think that’s fair,” Stewart said of his reason for leaving. “I know it’s going to be great when it comes out. I think the Ubisoft guys are great. I think it’s a great franchise. It was just a good, mutual time moving forward for both sides.”
