But there is one musical that stands out from the rest and has helped solidify my love of musicals, and it is, my friends, Chicago. Catherine Zeta-Jones is always stunning

But another thing that I really noticed about this movie is that while it takes time to set up the scene properly and make sure the setting is just right for the people feelings As if they’re in the 1920s, she’s also not afraid to dip into classic stage sets either. The full set of “Cell Block Tango” felt like it was ripped straight from a theatrical production and was so well done that I found myself looking for the original performance versus the movie performance.

I’ve talked about this before, but I come from a musical family, so it’s really hard to impress me with most musicals without them sounding like most other musicals. The rivalry between Velma and Roxie is honestly pretty fun to watch
You know, I’m usually not one for a rivalry story, but in chicago, I can’t help but love him, and I think that’s why an act Love her so much that she really isn’t afraid to lean on the fact that these two women are it’s not The best.
