Dead Space Remake reveals the change to the divisive feature

Developer Motive confirmed another change to Origin dead space for the upcoming remake, which is a somewhat divisive feature. when dead space Released in 2008, it was almost universally praised, with a score of 89 on Metacritic. Not only is it considered one of the best games of its year, but it along with its first sequel is widely regarded as one of the best survival horror games of all time. However, while the game is a certified classic, that doesn’t mean it’s bug-free. Like any game, it has drawbacks. For example, like most 3D maps, its 3D map in the game was not well realized or useful. And Motive selected this and altered it to remake it, making it a 2D map.

“Looking back, there was a little bit of frustration with how the controls were [the original map] Or how quickly you read it,” said Joel McMillan, developer at the new version of Changeling. You have to rotate it to see what is the best angle to see where your character is and where you need to go. We’ve actually simplified it rather than embellished it to improve its legibility and readability.”

It remains to be seen how well this change will be implemented, and therefore whether it will be an improvement. However, while 3D maps sometimes look cooler, they are rarely more useful than 2D maps, so it’s hard to imagine these maps ever being anything less than an upgrade.

the dead space The remake is set to be released worldwide on January 27, 2023 across PC, PS5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. When it does, it will cost $59.99. Being an EA game, it will eventually make it to EA Play, and therefore it will also come to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, but that won’t happen until months after the game’s release.

As always, feel free to leave a comment or two to let us know what you think. Do you think this is the right change of motivation or should they just keep things neat?
