Among those paying tribute to Lisa Marie, whose son Elvis and Benjamin — who died in 2020 — will be buried at Graceland, was Linda Thompson. King’s old flame lived with him at Graceland from 1972-6 after the breakdown of his marriage. During those years, the 22-year-old Miss Tennessee model helped raise Lisa Marie when she stayed at the mansion during her school holidays. Since then, the 72-year-old has posted photos on Instagram with Elvis and his daughter, posthumously admitting: “My heart is too heavy for words…” But now she has broken her silence.
Linda shared a photo of Lisa Marie with her mom, Priscilla, and her daughters, Riley Keough, Harper, and Finley Lockwood. This snapshot was taken around the release of Elvis last summer when five women gave Presley their hands and footprints in honor of the late star, to walk outside Hollywood’s famous Chinese Theater.
