The first quarter of any new year is a regular return for many WWE Superstars. Yesterday’s wrestlers return to the company they once frequented WrestleManiawhich makes appearances sparse on Monday Night Raw And WWE SmackDown For a one-time build in the Gallery of Immortals. However, the biggest return this year has come in the capacity behind the scenes. Vince McMahon ended his brief retirement on the first Friday in 2023, returning to the WWE Board of Directors just days before he was re-elected as Chairman following Stephanie McMahon’s resignation.
While there was a great deal of uncertainty surrounding Vince’s long-term future in WWE, his return statement confirmed that he was strictly returning to help sell the company. Although he’s given creative suggestions to WWE’s content director Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Vince’s story-telling days are in the back view.
With that in mind, the Observer Wrestling stated that Vince’s WWE return would have “absolutely no effect” on whether The Rock would wrestle Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania 39. Rock vs. Reigns years ago, even during Vince’s regime, but it has yet to be confirmed.
What Vince does with his return to WWE could turn things around. the Observer Wrestling He added that “selling to Saudi Arabia is a different story” with regard to the variables that may affect the rock’s decision. A final decision will reportedly come “in a couple of weeks” as it has long been rumored that WWE will lock her in WWE WrestleMania 39 main event before WWE Royal Rumble Premium live event. It was noted that Rock would be competing at WrestleMania in April if he “has time to practice for it”.
The Rock hasn’t wrestled in a real-life match since 2013 WWE WrestleMania 29Where John Cena defeated him. Brahma Bull has been at arm’s length from WWE on the decade ever since, and his face appears on random episodes of raw And SmackDown For promotional segments with the likes of The New Day, Baron Corbin, Becky Lynch, and more.
