Tijuana Nite Club shooting: David Castellon accused of shooting innocent bystander Alexandria Wehner outside someplace after hours

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A mother is now paralyzed after being shot outside a bar in northwest Harris County. The alleged shooter is in jail.

David Castillon, 35, was arrested Tuesday for the Jan. 11 shooting outside the Tijuana Nightclub in Tower Oaks and Jones Road in northwest Harris County.

Investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office say Alexandria Weiner was not the intended target. She was an innocent victim when she was shot.

Surveillance video from a nearby business shows her and her friend arriving at the bar. They just got out of the car.

At that point, investigators believe Castellon was arguing with someone else in a car when he opened fire in Weiner’s direction, changing her life forever.

The Castellón prosecutor read: “In this present pending case, the defendant pointed the weapon at people in a parking lot, and fired a firearm. One of the bullets hit the complainant, severing her spine. She is paralyzed from the waist down.” First court appearance on Wednesday.

The woman’s life has now been changed forever, and the person accused of doing so is also alleged to have gone so far as to conceal his involvement. At 10 p.m. on ABC13, Eyewitness News reveals more details on the crime.
