Houston, Texas (KTRK) – The Houston Police Department is investigating the death of a man who was found near the Museum District early Saturday morning.
According to investigators, a driver near Palm Street and Fannin Street called 911 to report that it appeared someone had been shot.
Officers responded to the area and declared the man dead.
Upon arrival, investigators said the man did not appear to have been shot, but they thought he may have been run over by a car.
Police said the man was at least 30 years old.
Police said they did not rule out shooting, but that the coroner would make the final decision.
There were no witnesses at the scene. Police said they would check cameras inside the area to take surveillance photos.
