PS Plus February 2023 Free PS4 & PS5 Games Delay – Fans Face Longer Wait For New Games | games | entertainment

PlayStation Plus subscribers have an even longer wait to find out the free PS4 and PS5 games for February 2023. Because of the way the dates fall, the free PS Plus games won’t be revealed until 4.30pm BST on February 1st. PlayStation Plus games will be available for download in less than a week, on the morning of February 7. A late release has its benefits, of course, because you have more time to grab January’s free games.

If the February games sound like the January lineup, then subscribers are in for a treat.

January’s free games include Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Fallout 76, and the indie platform game Axiom Verge 2.

With the sequel set to launch later this year, now is the perfect time to check out Jedi Fallen Order.

Between Episode III and Episode IV, the Star Wars spinoff plays like a mix between Dark Souls and Uncharted, combining flashy platforming with challenging lightsaber duels.

“After the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Senator Palpatine’s Fatal Order #66 — designed to destroy the Jedi Order and pave the way for the rise of the Empire — you are the last remaining Jedi Padawan and their last hope for survival,” reads the official description.

“Pick up the pieces of your shattered past and complete your Jedi Training, develop powerful Force abilities and master your lightsaber on your quest to rebuild the Jedi.”

On the other hand, Fallout 76 is an open world survival game with an emphasis on online multiplayer.

Twenty-five years after the bombs fell, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers–chosen from the nation’s best and brightest–are stepping out into post-nuclear America on Reclamation Day, 2102.

Play solo or join together as you explore, scavenge, build and triumph in the Wasteland’s greatest threats. Explore a vast wasteland ravaged by nuclear war in this open world multiplayer addition to the Fallout story. Experience the largest and most dynamic world ever created in the legendary Fallout universe.

Finally, Axiom Verge 2 is a Metroidvania-style platform game with a stylish 16-bit art style.

“Explore two interconnected worlds, wield ancient technology and question reality in this exploration platform sequel, which expands on the universe with all-new characters, abilities and gameplay.”
