Michigan City is hosting a Yellowstone-themed festival this summer

Yellowstone is one of the most popular TV shows, and now one Michigan town is bringing in little Yellowstone citizens. Earlier this week, the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce in Brighton, Michigan, announced that it will host the Yellowstone Country Music Festival in July at Mount Brighton in the town of Genoa. The announcement was made in a video titled Yellowstone on the Instagram of the Greater Brighton Chamber of Commerce. You can check it out below.

“We can’t hold our festivals in the city centre,” said Pam McCongee, President and CEO of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce.

“We decided not to have the arts festival this year and to have a country music festival this year instead, and hopefully it will become an annual festival,” McConaughey said. “We do our best in a difficult situation, and we look outside the box.”

The festival will be held on July 22 between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. Officials are still planning the event, including reservation teams, according to Livingston Daily. However, one aspect of the event that is set is a look-alike contest for the best costumes for attendees dressed as their favorite Yellowstone characters.

“It’s going to be like a TV show with a lookalike contest and things like that,” McConaughey said. “Obviously we’re going to tame him way, way, way down.”

“We’re looking at four country bands, we’re looking at food wagons, pony rides, having horses out there. We’re going to make it as realistic as possible,” she said.

When will Yellowstone Back with new episodes?

Fans will be waiting a while for the remaining episodes of Season 5 Yellowstone. Paramount Network released a teaser for the upcoming back half of Season 5, revealing that the series will return sometime this summer. No specific date has been set. Piper Perabo provided an update in a recent interview revealing that the series apparently has yet to begin production on the second half of the season, though she does tease that there is “a lot more to come.”
