Sparkle It returns for its ninth and final season on The CW in just over a week and as the Arrowverse series prepares to head to its conclusion, there’s a lot of nostalgia and thought about the DC-inspired series – especially for the cast and crew. Recently, series star Danielle Panabaker took to social media to celebrate the big anniversary of her time on the series, celebrating her ninth anniversary playing the role of Caitlin Snow. In her celebratory post, Panabaker shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos from her early days working there Sparkle In its first season, in particular, work on the pilot series.
“Nine years ago today, I was hired to join the cast of The Flash,” she wrote. “Wow, what an amazing journey that has been. Here are some archive photos of my first few days on the job.”
Plus shine on Sparkle Since the first season, Panabaker has worked as a director on the series as well. Panabaker has directed an episode of every season of Sparkle Since Season 5. Her director credits include “Godspeed,” “License to Elongate,” “Rayo de Luz,” and “Keep It Dark,” and she’ll be directing again in Season 9. She will direct the ninth episode of the next season.

What do we know about the final season of Sparkle?
The official synopsis of the season is as followsAfter defeating the Reverse-Flash once and for all, Season 9 of Sparkle Picking up one week after their epic battle, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Iris West-Allen (Candice Patton) reconnect and bring them closer than ever. But when a deadly group of Rogues descends on Central City led by a powerful new threat, so do The Flash and his team – Caitlin Snow (Daniel Panabaker), meta-empath Cecil Horton (Daniel Nicolette), light meta Allegra Garcia (Kyla Compton), and tech-obsessed savvy Chester P. Runk (Brandon McKnight) and reformed thermostat thief Mark Blaine (John Core) – must once again defy impossible odds to save the day. But with The Rogues defeated, a deadly new adversary rises to challenge Barry Allen’s heroic legacy and in their greatest battle yet, Barry and Team Flash will be pushed to their limits in order to save Central City one last time.”
The last season of Sparkle It will consist of 13 episodes and will premiere on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 8/7c.
