The new documentary, Man On The Run, says a press release, will be “the definitive document of Paul’s emergence from the break-up of the world’s greatest band and his triumphant creation of a second decade of musical milestones—a fascinating and prolific stretch.”
Director Morgan Neville is helming the project and couldn’t be more excited, having been a lifelong McCartney fan.
He is best known for his 2013 Academy Award winning documentary on backing singers, 20 Feet from Stardom and recently directed a movie on Anthony Bourdain called Roadrunner.
