Houston police are looking for a suspect caught on video robbing a woman at gunpoint with a baby in her driveway on Ariel Street

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Authorities have released a sketch of a man who allegedly robbed a woman in her driveway while she was taking her child from the car in southwest Houston.

On January 15, around 8:20 p.m., investigators said, the woman pulled into her driveway at 5500 Ariel Street.

The woman told police that a masked man ran towards her while she was removing her child from her car.

The suspect pointed a gun at her while demanding her handbag and cell phone.

Surveillance video shows the child inside a transporter in front of the armed suspect, and the woman can be heard saying, “Don’t hurt my child!” while giving away her belongings.

Police say that’s when the suspect got back into the driver’s seat of a white van and sped away.

Police described the suspect as a black man who was wearing a black hoodie, black slacks and white Adidas shoes.

Police said the suspect drove in a white four-door sedan with a black rear bumper and black front quarter panel.
