My Hero Academia Cosplay brings together the heroes of The Dark Deku Arc

Season 6 of My Hero Academia may have seen the heroes triumph over the post-war paranormal liberation front, but that doesn’t mean the fight is over for the UA Academy students and Hero Society’s professional crime-fighters. With the latest storyline seeing Deku forced to take on a darker persona to fight against the villains who are freed from prison by Shigaraki, a group of cosplayers have brought together heroes working to protect civilization.

After the Supernatural War of Liberation, the Hero Society is hanging by a thread, thanks not only to the villains rampaging across the country, but to the common people’s loss of faith when it comes to their protectors. With Dabi revealing that he is in fact Endeavor’s son Toya Todoroki, the fiery antagonist also revealed that the second hero Hawks killed the villain twice, doing so when his back was turned in a desperate move to ensure that the villain’s repeat would not overwhelm the heroes. With Midoriya abandoning his friends at UA Academy, while working himself to the core to overcome the threats facing the Hero Society, things have never been more serious for the Shonen Champions despite their recent victory.

While the anime adaptation continues to heat up, the manga does the same by telling a “final arc” story, which pitted the heroes of Class 1-A against the All Four One and his forces. Described by creator Kohei Horikoshi as UA Academy’s final battle, the mangaka hasn’t revealed if there will be a sequel or spin-off to Deku’s Journey, though there will be more than a few anime fans who will be sad to see Class 1-graduate.
