The trio discuss the “exile” Kang, who was the replacement in the new film Imprisoned in the Quantum Realm by He Who Remains.
It’s also implied that the branches of the multiverse have been created now that He Who Remains dead in the final episode of Loki season 1. And given that Kang’s bust is in the final shot of the show, presumably they’ve already taken over TVA.
A mid-credits scene ends with a shot of an arena of thousands of Kang variants, all played by Majors and depicting just how dangerous the villain he is. After all, even if one is defeated, there is much, much more to stop.
This is clearly the setting for 2025’s Avengers: The Kang Dynasty when the Marvel superheroes will face several variants of Kang the Conqueror.
