While recent reports of behind-the-scenes issues have raised questions about the future of Paramount Network Yellowstone, series star Wes Bentley doesn’t care about the series’ future and is breaking his silence on the drama. talk with Entertainment WeeklyBentley said he believes the recent reports are “probably more dramatic than nothing” and is confident things will continue moving forward.
“The news out there recently about the show is, you know, above my paycheck. Different people make the decisions,” Bentley said. “I know they’re still working on… working things out with everyone, to make sure we shoot. And I’m sure we’ll do that. We always have before. I think there’s probably a little bit of drama over nothing.”
Earlier this month, it was reported that Yellowstone may soon be ending in its current form with reports indicating that co-creator and showrunner Taylor Sheridan is working with the network, as well as Paramount Global, to finish the series, and launch it later. A new extension of the franchise that would continue its narrative. The report hints that Matthew McConaughey is in negotiations to star in the potential new series as a currently unknown character, with “several big stars.” Yellowstone rumored to join him.
