For decades, the shonen series known as Naruto has taken the opportunity to introduce dozens of ninjas not only from Hidden Leaf Village, but also in Ninja World in general. One of the biggest lands introduced as Konoha’s main rival was the Village Hidden By Sand which brought the influential character Gaara into the anime. Along with Gaara, several other sand ninjas are introduced including the fan-wielding Temari, with one of the cosplayers bringing back the Shippuden style of the sand ninja.
When the Sand Ninjas were first introduced, Temari and her cohorts were considered villains of the Shonen franchise, with Gaara in particular posing the biggest threat besides the arrival of Orochimaru. Shockingly, Temari eventually finds herself starting a relationship with Shikimaru, a shadow-manipulative member of the Hidden Leaf Village who will eventually become the right-hand man of the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. With the birth of Temari to her son Shikadi, the last series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, found ways to include professional sand-dwellers in some of the cartoon’s adventures. While the next generation of the ninja world has been the main focus of Boruto, there are still plenty of opportunities for past generations to play a part in the proceedings.

The Instagram Yelihi_Moon cosplay brought us back to a previous generation of Naruto to focus on the sand ninja who was able to unite her village with Konoha by falling in love with a braniac known as Shikamaru, helping create a fan-favorite anime couple that proves sometimes opposites attract:
Currently, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations’ focus is on the new iteration of Kara’s organization in both the manga and anime, with the most recent focus being the Code Arc that sees Jigen’s right-hand man looking for some payback after him. death of mr. Although Temari hasn’t played a role in the recent events, her partner is still a major character which means that she and her son may be helping her in the near future. Regardless of Konoha’s forces, the fight against the Otsutsuki is still a huge threat to the ninja world.
