The father was killed in a murder-suicide, killing 3 people, says the Public Health Service

Maryland, Texas (KTRK) – One of the mothers, Meyerland, called the 911 dispatcher for help in the moments before she was shot and killed.

Houston police said the shooting was most likely a suicide. It took the lives of three family members.

Investigators said the shooting involved a mother, father and their son. All three were found dead inside this home on the 5600 block of Indigo Street near Pontiac Drive.

Investigators said the evidence indicated that the father had fired the shots.

The mom called 911 to try and get some help around midnight, according to HPD.

It is not known what was going on inside the house at the time, but investigators said the woman appeared frantic on the phone.

Officers were sent to the house, but while the mother was still on the phone, gunshots were heard.

Police said that when the officers got to the house, the door was locked.

Wilkins said, “The officers were concerned for everyone’s safety, of course. They had to kick the door in. When they went in, they found the bodies.”

The three victims have not been identified.

Investigators believe the mother and father were in their sixties and the son was in his late teens.
