New York — Brian Londry “seemed like a mental and emotional bully” to the Utah State Police officer who responded to a house call weeks ago. Gabe Petito He was beaten to death, according to an amended lawsuit filed by Pettito’s parents Wednesday night.

Moab Officer Eric Pratt responded to a call from a witness who reported seeing Londry beat Petito.

The officers separated the couple for the night but, according to the lawsuit, treated Laundry like a victim rather than an abuser.

Officer Pratt also admitted, “I thought he was an emotional threat to her.” She thought he was a mental threat to her.” Likewise, he says he concluded during the traffic stop that Brian appeared to be a mental and emotional bully, according to the amended complaint.

Officer Pratt also colorfully admitted, “I know that kind of guy. Brian didn’t get away with being nice. Brian showed more red flags than a Chinese Communist march. “

The lawsuit filed by the family accused Pratt and other officers of failing to properly investigate the incident leading up to Petito’s death and said “Gabe’s murder could have been prevented if the officers had acted properly.”
