Pasadena, Texas (KTRK) – A woman is facing multiple criminal charges after being accused of stealing cash over a five-year period from the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, where she worked.

Documents show Jimmy Digger, 46, is charged with misuse of credit property, false statement to obtain credit, forgery, fraudulent use of identifying information, and theft.

Hafar has been the Chief Financial Officer of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce since 2017.

According to police, they were called on November 22, 2022, by Christina Womack, who stated that she was the chairwoman of the chamber and was the victim of large-scale theft and fraud by one of her employees.

Prosecutors allege that Al-Haver charged more than $1 million on a credit card that she was allegedly paying off from the room’s bank account.

Haffar is accused of using that money for personal expenses, including plastic surgery, trips to Budapest and Disney World, and online shopping.

Hafar was held on $1.25 million bail and required to surrender her passport and wear an ankle monitor.
