When we watch The Mandalorian season 3 episode 2 on Disney Plus, we go in with curiosity. Episode 1 saw Din Djarin and Grogu return on their latest adventures, but the events in them didn’t really help us understand why Mando cared so much about getting his fellow Mandalorians to let him back.
The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2 release date and time
date: Wednesday (8 March)
time: 3 AM EST / 12 AM PT / 8 AM GMT
While the episode mostly saw our heroes deal with space pirates, those skirmishes surrounded the moments that made up Mando’s first side missions of the season.
The Armorer told Din Jaren that in order to become a Mandalorian again (a nickname taken from him since he took off his helmet), he must find living water under the mines of Mandalore. Except, well, that whole area was destroyed.
Therefore, Mando needs the help of IG-11, which was slightly possessed by violent energy upon its reboot. The wonderful Anzellans advises that Mando is tracking a certain type of memory card to help repair IG-11.
In Kalevala, Darren finds grieving Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), frustrated and of little help. And this is where we stop, as our hero is trying to find someone who can help him.
Here’s everything you need to watch The Mandalorian Season 3, Episode 2 (one of our top picks for new shows and movies to watch in March 2023).
