San Antonio, Texas — Seven people were sent to the hospital after a tree branch fell at a zoo in San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday.

The city’s fire department said only one victim was considered in “level one priority care” and other patients were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Their circumstances were not immediately disclosed.

The San Antonio Fire Department said a tree fell on a group, and the zoo added that it was guests who were injured just after noon.

The zoo said in a statement that emergency first responders were on the scene immediately after the branch broke and fell “unexpectedly.”

“The San Antonio Zoo security/EMT team responded quickly and began treating guests. The San Antonio Park Police, San Antonio Police and San Antonio Fire Department responded within minutes,” the zoo’s statement read in part.

Aerial footage taken in the aftermath of the fall showed a large section of a tree resting on the ground, covering part of a walking path. The part where the branch was cut off was also seen from a news helicopter camera.
