The Steam Deck celebrated its first birthday last month, and Valve marked the occasion by discounting the handheld gaming device for the first time ever.

This discount is set to last through Thursday, March 23rd and is available in every region where Steam Deck is sold which includes the US, UK and most of Europe. The timing of this presentation appears to be more than just celebrating the device’s first year on sale. Steam Deck recently slid down the Steam sale charts after spending nearly 40 weeks atop the bestseller list. This first-time discount appears to be Valve’s attempt to reinvigorate sales.
