Brian May teases upcoming Queen tour with incredible guitar solo | music | entertainment

After a two-year hiatus, Queen and Adam Lambert are finally back performing live with the UK and European tours of their Rhapsody World Tour, including a 10-night residency at The O2 in London. After completing the wide range of dates, Sir Brian May, Roger Taylor and the singer admitted they needed a break but were very open to finally getting back there. Since then, the guitarist has spoken out about rumors of concerts in 2023.

Speaking previously to BBC Radio 2, Sir Brian said: “Are there rumours? Well, we’re talking very seriously about it, yeah. I think we’re about to hit a button. I can’t tell you what it is, but very soon.” “If we’re saved,” my mother used to say, “we’ll be out in the latter part of next year. Somewhere, maybe.”

The 75-year-old also admitted diverse: “It will probably be in the US in 2023 at some point. I hope it will, but it’s a strong possibility.” And now it bothers him even more that the news about what exactly the Queen and Adam Lambert have planned could be close.

After posting a video of himself performing a guitar solo, Sir Brian gushed on his Instagram: “Here’s a gentle reminder that this is what drives my life – hope we get back there soon.” The Queen legend also thanked the fans for the amazing support they gave him after His Majesty was knighted earlier this week.

The 75-year-old added: ‘And thank you all for your wonderful response to my posts about King Charles being knighted. I’ve been overwhelmed by your tremendous support for my comments on IG. Many of you said it was long overdue, which is why I thank you – but it’s not too late. EVER – I’m going to work even harder to make up for lost time!! I’m grateful and I feel strong! We’re all starting to realize what exactly it is a lot clearer as we fight. Onward!!! Wild.”

The rock star also recently shared how he took Freddie Mercury’s soul with him in his knighthood.

When asked if the late Queen singer would have enjoyed seeing Sir Brian knighted, the guitar legend told 5News: “Freddie would love it. I think if he had been around he would have been honored a long time ago and rightfully so. So we are left here and we have to deal with the honors.” Ourselves I suppose.

“But Freddie is always with us. We carry him with us in everything we do and he’s a very precious person, a very precious soul. And of course, everything we’ve created is still going on in the moment.”
