HOUSTON CRIME: Contacting someone leads to 3 men being found shot in the Beechnut parking lot, police say

3 men were found shot to death in southwest Houston, according to HPD

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Police said three people were found dead, shot in a parking garage in the Central Strip in southwest Houston.

At approximately 5:50 a.m. Sunday, police received a call about a person at 10800 Beechnut Avenue. When the officers arrived, they found three dead people with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police said multiple shell casings were found at the scene, but they still have few details on what happened. The Public Security Department adds that several cars came under fire during the shooting, but as officers arrived at the scene, people began to disperse.

The shooting appears to have occurred at a strip mall near a nightclub, but it is unclear if the incident was related to the club.

At this time, the officers have no witnesses or suspicious description. They are working on checking surveillance footage.
