Sandberg previously said that the third film would depend on box office success, and now he’s commenting on the film’s disappointing performance at the box office.

Wrath of the Gods With a rocky start at the box office, the chances of a third movie look slimmer, which is disappointing considering the post-credit scenes have set up some exciting things for Shazam’s future. Currently, it’s unclear if this will be the last we see of Shazamily. Sandberg recently said in response to a fan on Twitter. “What I was told is that there is nothing in it Shazam Films that contradict future plans for the capital. So the possibility of getting more Shazam is there and if that’s what you want, your best bet is to go see the movie.”
If there’s going to be a third Shazam movie, the cast has an idea. Zachary Levi, who plays the titular hero, apparently pitched an idea to his co-star, Rachel Ziegler (Anthea). during an interview with NMEZeliger talked about some of the three potential ideas.
“I think it would be cool to do this zombie plot that Zack obsessive about,” Ziegler explained. “that it evil dead Meets Superman Meets bigwhich doesn’t seem like it should work, but I think it might.”
