Oasis star Liam Gallagher slams Noel for “ruining” the band | music | entertainment

Oasis fans lived a roller coaster ride for a week. Although the band split back in 2009 following a reported sibling breach between Noel and Liam Gallagher, news of the reunion was on Gallagher’s tongue. Liam hinted at the group’s comeback earlier this week when he told a fan on Twitter, “It’s happening.” Noel follows it up by criticizing the idea before Liam brutally lashes out at his former bandmate.

Liam recently told his Twitter followers that the chances of an Oasis reunion depend not only on him, but also on Noel.

He wrote: “So I see Little Potatoes doing a lot of damage to Weissis as a band/label he has a lot to make.” (sic)

He added, “Not just me but you fan people who put us in our place as if you were LG x”. (sic)

These harsh words come after a candid interview with Noel where he only blamed his brother.

Speaking to France Inter, Noel was quizzed about getting the Manchester squad back together after nearly 15 years.

Referring to Liam’s comments, he said: “There’s something in the papers in England today. Ho [Liam] He must make his people call my people. They know who they are, they know where we are. Stop talking on the Internet, and let’s see what you have to say.”

Noel is also quizzed on whether all it takes is a call to get Oasis back together. He replied: “You think, don’t you? You will think.”

Then he confirmed: “He’s got my number, he’s got my manager’s number, call us. But you know what? He won’t call.”

Then Noel was asked why his brother had not contacted him. He smiled: “But why really. Why really.”

Since Noel’s comments, Liam’s fans have begun questioning him about the proposed phone call. Someone asked him: “Come on then LG, Noel challenged ‘your people’ to pick up the phone… Is your bag still packed?”

Liam bluntly replied, “He has no people.”

Asked again if he would call his brother’s team, he replied, “Cowboys.”

This isn’t the first time Noel has spoken publicly about reviving Oasis after so many years.

In January, he said he would “never say never” to the group’s comeback. Still, he added, “It must have taken an extraordinary set of circumstances; that doesn’t mean those circumstances will never happen.”

However, frontman Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds continued to make a stark comparison about the band’s music.

Noel said it would be “pointless” for Oasis to get back together because of how successful the band was.

He explained that Oasis is still “selling as many records now” as they did in their prime, meaning that the brothers probably get paid well every month or year for the work they did in the ’90s.
