Deer Park, Texas (KTRK) – Officials said an investigation is underway in the Deer Park area after a woman was found dead inside a home following a small fire.
On Friday at approximately 11 p.m., Deer Park Fire Marshal crews responded to a house fire on the 2800 block of Pickerton Street.
Firefighters said the small flames were contained in the upstairs bedroom where a dead woman was found.
Investigators said the woman was the only occupant in the house at the time.
Investigators determine the cause of the fire.
