Spring, Texas (KTRK) – A man riding his bicycle and his young daughter attached to him in a stroller were hit by a car on Monday morning, all caught on camera.

The accident occurred at approximately 7:40 a.m. on the 7800 block of Oak Moss Road in This Mill Road, near Klein High School.

People who live near the intersection say they see four-way accidents all the time, and they weren’t surprised that a cyclist and his daughter in a camper were involved in the most recent accident.

Homeland security camera video shows the father riding his bicycle with his daughter in a cart next to a house a few meters from the intersection. Moments later, a crashing sound could be heard.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies said the father and daughter, who are both under the age of 6, are expected to be fine after authorities said they were taken to the hospital. Officials said they were hit by a white Chevy or GMC pickup truck.

“A lot of people don’t stop,” said Tom Sandoval, who lives near the intersection.

Sandoval had his own accident at the intersection of Oak Moss Road and Teese Mile Route.

“When he hit me, he said he was changing his watch on the radio,” Sandoval said.

Neighbors say Oak Moss is a popular street that can be cut to avoid traffic in the morning, and there are frequent accidents there.

“There are a lot of accidents, a lot of people riding their bikes here, and there are a lot of cars going through and they come very fast too,” Nathalie Gomez said.
