Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A couple of deadlock alerts might slow down your weekend plans.
SH-99 close
The first closure is located on Grand Parkway, near the Cinco Ranch area.
From Friday night, crews will close the southern lanes of the motorway at Fry Road.
Drivers will be diverted to Fry Road, Peek Road and FM 1093 before returning to Grand Parkway.
It is expected to reopen in time for the Monday morning drive.

I-45 closing lane
The second closure will be along the Gulf Expressway.
Inward deceleration motion should be expected near the first NASA route.
The crew will have two tracks closed all weekend.
To get around the closure, drivers can take Highway 3.
