Xbox Game Pass continues to go from strength to strength, with Microsoft announcing the next batch of titles joining the service in April 2023. Heading the next wave of Xbox Game Pass releases is Ghostwire Tokyo, joining the service on April 12th. The horror(ish) game sees players exploring Tokyo and battling ghosts in an effort to find out what happened to the city’s residents. The PlayStation Timed exclusive debuts on Xbox just over a year after its release on PS5. It will be playable on Xbox consoles, PC, and across cloud gaming for Game Pass subscribers.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also be able to download and play Loop Hero, NHL 23, Iron Brigade, and Minecraft Legends in April 2023.

The first is the hidden gem Loop Hero, which joins the service today (April 4th). Published by Devolver Digital, Loop Hero is a unique role-playing game in which players place cards representing landmarks, enemies, and terrain.

The official description reads: “The Lich has cast the world into an immortal loop and plunged its inhabitants into never-ending chaos.”

Use an expanding array of mystical cards to place enemies, buildings, and terrain along each unique exploration loop for the brave hero.

The Iron Brigade joins service on April 6, followed by the aforementioned Ghostwire Tokyo on April 12 and NHL 23 on April 13.

The latest entry in the NHL series features more realistic rendering, multiplayer multiplayer, and improved goalkeeper AI.

The game also introduces mixed teams of women and men into Ultimate Team, which makes for a unique and even more customizable experience.

Finally, Minecraft Legends will be available as a Day 1 launch for Xbox Game Pass subscribers on April 18th.

The long-awaited Minecraft game features third-person action elements, not to mention. Cooperative and competitive play.

Of course, not all news is good, as multiple titles are preparing to leave the service.

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass on April 15 include Life is Strange: True Colors, Moonglow Bay, Panzer Corps II, Rainbow Six Extraction, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk, The Long Dark, and The Riftbreaker.

Needless to say, this is your last chance to finish these games if you’re halfway there.
