Dealer pleads guilty to selling a fatal dose of heroin containing fentanyl to actor Michael K. Williams

Cartagena was a member of a drug trafficking organization (DTO) operating in the Brooklyn borough of Williamsburg between August 2020 and February 2022, according to prosecutors.

“Despite knowledge of Williams’ death following the sale of the DTO product, Cartagena and his co-conspirators continued to sell fentanyl-laced heroin in broad daylight amidst apartment buildings in Brooklyn and Manhattan,” prosecutors said.
