Jujutsu Kisen It climaxes in Gege Akutami’s intense Culling game arc Jujutsu Kisen The manga series, and the new chapter, share the unfortunate thing that must happen in order for the Fatal Tournament to end! Kenjaku used the chaos of the Shibuya Incident to trigger a whole other battle royale involving a slew of cursed spirits and resurrected Jujutsu mages in the current era. Yuji Itadori and the others have been in all kinds of deadly fights since Culling started, but the end of the tournament is finally near. But it’s an ending they wouldn’t want to see.
Jujutsu Kisen Kenjaku’s plan has been steadily progressing towards the final stage of Kenjaku’s true Culling Plan, and ever since Sukuna successfully took over Megumi Fushiguro’s body, Kenjaku’s plan has been moving at full speed as he now needs to channel the last of his curse energy into launching his new, massive monster. But now it has made things more difficult for Yuji and the others to escape as a new rule has been added to only end Culling when all players other than “Suguru Geto” and “Megumi Fushiguro” have been killed.
JJK: How will the execution game end?
Jujutsu Kisen Chapter 220 revisits Kenjaku after Tengen is captured, and moves forward with the next stage of his plan by trying to add a new rule to the Culling Game that would ban any new players. While this went against the other rules set in place, it was also something that Kengaku ordered to make the Koganes short. Either he changed the rule, or he destroyed all the barriers and ended the game that way. This allows him to install this in place first.
After setting a rule that new players can’t get into a Culling game, Kenjaku also makes it so that the only way a Culling game can end is because all the other players Geto and Megumi are dead. This means that only Kingaku and Sukuna are left alive. It will allow Kenjaku to continue activating full Tengen fusion when it’s all over, but there is also a way for Yuji and the others to escape. Easier said than done, but they can end Culling by killing Kenjaku and Sukuna. But also somehow saves Megumi in the process.
