Temecula, California – The two women who were convicted of killing an elderly woman in a Pechanga resort casino bathroom in 2019 were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Candice Townsell and Kimsha Williams were found guilty of robbing and killing 84-year-old Afaf Asaad while she was emerging from the bathroom, causing her to fall to the floor, causing her to hit her head.
She never regained consciousness.
The two defendants also have previous convictions.
Williams is the sister of Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard.
