When a TV series, especially a long-running series, ends, it’s not uncommon for its stars to take items from home with them but for Sabrina the Teenage Witch Star Melissa Joan Hart, she had a very unique way of taking home items from the famous series. talk with TVLineHart revealed that she took a few items home from the set of the series – and it was the cat who played Salem who unexpectedly helped her. In an interview with the outlet, Hart revealed that an unfortunate incident with the cat created enough chaos that she and other cast members managed to grab items to keep.
“I took it all,” Hart said when asked if she took anything from the set. “Clothes, set pieces, things I don’t even know how I got home.”
But she knows how to grab things: a runaway cat.
“We were all screaming and screaming the night we dipped the rap, so the cat freaked out and ran,” Hart explained. “We had to shut down the set to find the cat. I freaked out, and the trainer scratched to pieces and disappeared. Our sound stage was almost 22,000 square feet and we had to search everything for that cat. As we walked around the set, we stole a lot of stuff. Maybe I’d post some on Instagram and say, “Does anyone recognize this?”
Will there be a reboot of Sabrina the Teenage Witch?
Originally aired from 1996 to 2003 – the first four seasons aired on ABC and the last three seasons on The WB – Sabrina the Teenage Witch It has long remained a fan favorite, but while the Archie Comics series of the same name got a darker version from Netflix Chilling Adventures of SabrinaThere have been no plans to reboot the Hart series, though she isn’t totally against the idea.
“I think it would be a lot of fun to be back with these people,” Hart said. “I’d like to put together the same crew and cast. I definitely see the appeal of that. I’d like to see what kind of storylines they might come up with, but it has to be done right.”
She added, “I used to say: never say never.”
