stuff on showtime Yellow jackets It’s always been complicated, but according to the series’ costume designer, things will be messed up at the end of the second season of the popular series. talk with digital spyCostume designer Amy Paris said that by the time the series reaches the season finale, the conditions the girls endure in the wild will be fully visible on their clothes — and that things are definitely getting worse.
“When I first watched season one, I thought, well, they definitely wanted to give season two a place to go you know, and get dirtier,” said Paris. “Until I think about Seven and Eight, the characters still look relatively clean. I mean they’re sloppy, but you’ll really see in Nine, they’re dealing with roughness and they’re really messed up and sad and desperate.”
She continued, “It starts out really kind of mellow and underage and gets a little crazy towards the end, just so you can see how dirty and messy and smelly it is at this point.”
While Paris didn’t elaborate on what kind of corruption would lead to the costumes being messy and gross, series star Melanie Lynskey previously teased that the ending will be emotional and that there are crazy twists in the Wilderness story.
“God, how do I answer this?” Lynskey said when asked about the season two finale. “I was so emotional. I was so emotional. It’s a good episode. It’s a really good episode. It’s just… It’s sad. It’s also really sad. But it’s crazy. I just remembered something that happened in Young Men’s Story, and it’s crazy.”
Lynskey isn’t the only star stirring things up crazy in Season 2.
Also series newcomer Nicole Maines teased that season 2 will go a bit off the rails in a previous interview, though Maines was more specific about things with her character, Lisa, as well as adult Nat (Juliette Lewis) and adult Lottie (Simon). kissel).
“I mean, it will undoubtedly end badly,” Maines said of the dynamic between Lisa, Nat, and Lottie. But as for who, I can’t say. I mean, we’re playing with life or death, murky wilderness, cult shit.
