Houston, Texas (KTRK) – Shopaholic Jean sparked an idea that aims to change the way women shop online.
Three students from Rice University Goldie fireda website that uses an algorithm that aggregates your measurements of different clothing brands.
“Everyone always asks us what does Goldie stand for?” said Samantha Wong, co-creator. “They’re short for Goldie Locks, so those jeans won’t be too big and they won’t be too small, they just fit you right.”
The idea led them to win the Napier Rice 2023 Launch Challenge with a prize of $50,000.
